The Determination of Forage Yield and Quality of Some Silage Sorghum Cultivars in Ecological Conditions of U?ak Province

This study was conducted to determinate of yield and some quality characters sorghum cultivars in Usak province 2014. In the used four sudangrass hybrid (Aneto, Sugar Graze II, Greengo, Nutri Honey) two (Teide Rox). The experiment carried out completely randomized block design with three replicates. study, plant height, herbage yield, hay crude protein (CP) ratio, yields, acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral (NDF), total digestible nutrient (TDN) relative feed value (RFV) were determined. There significant differences all properties examined among sorghum-sudangrass cultivars. According results research, heights ranged from 200.1 229.7 cm, yields 57.40 77.73 t ha-1, 14.11 18.95 ratios 9.95 11.94%, 1.46 2.15 ADF 36.64 42.41%, NDF 55.79 60.12%, 46.60 54.05%, values 87.14 100.56. Greengo cultivar had higher lower ratio than other revealed that can be considered suitable for U?ak similar ecological conditions.
